Multivariable cox regression model for heart transplantation

Association between NTproBNP and heart transplant analyzed using multivariable Cox regression model. NTproBNP was entered as a time-dependent covariate modeling multiple measures per patient and using cubic spline, with death as the competing event. The multivariable analysis was adjusted for age, gender, diabetes, and ischemic cardiomyopathy as the etiology of heart failure.
